Complimentary 45-Minute Travel Consultation
First things first, we start with a friendly 45-minute in person or Zoom call. This is where we get to know each other and chat about your travel dreams. We’ll cover everything from the type of travel you’re interested in, the destinations you have in mind, your budget, preferred travel dates, any special requirements, and what you hope to get out of this journey.
If this is your first time planning a trip with DBS and we decide to move forward together, a one-time, non-refundable administrative fee of $200 will be required before any research or proposal work begins. This helps us dedicate the time and resources needed to craft a truly personalized experience.
We understand that many travelers explore multiple options before committing, and we respect that process. This policy simply ensures that our time, insights, and recommendations are reserved for clients who are genuinely ready to collaborate. It helps protect the integrity of our work while allowing us to give each traveler the attention they deserve.
Personalized Travel Quote
After our chat, I’ll put together a personalized travel quote / proposal just for you. This will include recommended destinations, hand-picked accommodations, suggested activities, and any special requests you mentioned. It’s all about making sure the trip is tailored to your preferences.
Proposal Review
Next, you’ll get to review the proposed itinerary in detail. This is your chance to make any adjustments or tweaks to ensure everything is just right. We want to make sure the plan meets your expectations and gets you excited about your upcoming adventure.
Confirm & Book Your Trip
hen booking a pre-arranged group trip, no administrative fee applies. Once you’re satisfied with the customized group itinerary or with the individual proposal, we’ll move on to securing your reservations. We will prepare a Digital Booking Authorization Form for your confirmation and signature. This step makes everything official and gets us one step closer to your dream vacation.
Payment & Invoice
With the trip confirmed, we’ll handle the payment securely and provide you with a detailed invoice. This will confirm all the arrangements and costs, so you know exactly what to expect. Here’s how it works:
- You authorize: You provide your credit card information through our secure authorization form.
- We submit: DBS Travel submits your payment directly to the supplier (such as a cruise line, hotel, or tour operator).
- Supplier processes: The supplier charges your card and confirms the booking.
- You receive confirmation: Once payment is complete, we send you a detailed invoice and booking confirmation.
This process ensures transparency and security—your payment goes directly to the supplier, and you receive immediate documentation of your purchase.
Ongoing Support Before You Depart
Once you return, we’ll reconnect to hear about your experience—what you loved, what surprised you, and what you’d do differently next time. Your feedback helps us fine-tune future recommendations and ensures that every trip gets better and better.
Post-Travel Follow-Up & Continued Connection
As your departure date approaches, we’ll stay in regular contact to ensure everything is running smoothly. I’ll keep an eye on travel regulations, share tips and insights, and provide reminders and updates. It’s all about making sure you’re well-prepared and excited for your trip.
